High Street Fashion Fun this LFW

With the crazy, adventurous appearances coming out of the ever great London Fashion Week at the moment, I thought it only just to share some simple high street options with you on my blog this coming week. Starting with a very simple tourist in my home town look.

One of my new favourite shops of the moment has to be American Eagle Outfitters. I am so elated the brave Eagle has finally landed in the UK, after years of online ordering and forever waiting, like a puppy by the letter box in anticipation of the morning papers. We can now visit one of its many UK locations to purchase some wonderful layers and incredibly comfy jeans.

I now have two pairs of the high rise jegging, off black and dark navy. I find them the most fitted, engagingly beautiful jeans i own and at £29 i think they are very reasonably priced. They do not fall down, i am not forever flying low when the zip magically decides to undo its self whilst walking and the long are finally long enough for my lengthy pins.

My hat, also an Eagle classic, is a very dark Navy and always keeps my head toasty. Yes it does make your hair flat on occasion but what a small price to pay for the grandeur of this beautiful head cover. Even a lovely barista in the coffee shop commented how charming it looked on me, and wished he could pull off such a hat in a similar way, to which i replied with "I bet you can, everyone loves a hat, try mine on"

Finally onto the camel covering my shoulders, known to normal people as the common coat! This was from Warehouse, a place I do not shop in very often, they tend to do more classical pieces which is great, but i am more of an American/Australian designers fan. A cut i would not normally go for. This oversized find was a real treat and i love the way it flows. The fabric falls softly over any outfit, the jacket works beautifully for evening with a seductive red lip, or for daytime with some nude lip glossiness. Also great for when your having one of those "fat days" it is such a flattering cut for any woman. All in all an outfit great for those cold winters days that seem to still be hanging over us, do not forget layering. I am a huge advocate of a layer. Bring on spring!! Lets brighten the world with some colourful garments to contend with those forever glowing daffodils and such like that make us all smile.
